Beatport is calling on producers from around the world to enter the Beatport Producer Challenge, which is offering $100,000 in software and subscriptions from some of the world’s foremost music gear companies. To enter, create a wholly original piece of music and submit it by Monday, May 11, 2020. Their expert curation team will crown five winners from each of Beatport’s top 10 genres, with 50 winners total. Whether you’re into techno, house, tech house, drum & bass, deep house, minimal/deep tech, trance, melodic house, dance/future/bass house or afro house, they want to hear it.
To help you along the way, each entrant will receive a one month free trial of Loopmasters’ Loopcloud, which comes ready with four unique sample packs, 300 credits, and full Loopcloud functionality. All entrants will also receive a free trial to LANDR’s incredible mastering and distribution platform, so you can master your track if needed before submitting. Likewise, all entrants will have access to a 30-day free trial of Roland Cloud, complete with Techno Patches and Patterns for the JUNO-106, JUPITER-8, SH-101, TB-303, TR-808, and TR-909.
Prizes include a 12 month subscription to Beatport LINK PRO+, Beatport’s fast-growing streaming service for DJs, which grants instant access to Beatport’s entire music catalogue through DJ performance software like Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox, Virtual DJ, and Hercules DJUCED.
