As the world is ravaged by the rapid spread of Covid-19, with some countries recording high numbers of infected citizens on a daily bases. Due to restrictions across the nation, musicians have taken to online platforms to host virtual music shows.
Legendary house music maestro Blackcoffee leads the wave with his recent commitment to a residency of live streaming sessions. With these live streaming sessions, Blackcoffee aims to raise funds in the fight against Covid 19 and to also build awareness to aid different charities. Blackcoffee’s Home Brewed Session was streamed live last night through YouTube and his Facebook Page with over 540 000 viewers generated across the globe.

Earlier this week Blackcoffee announced his GoFundMe Page which is an online fund raising initiative which seeks to raise funds for the Solidarity Fund Of South Africa. This fund seeks to prevent, care and support those affected by Covid-19. So far through his GoFundMe Page, Blackcoffee has raised over R88 000 and we are all encouraged to make some contributions towards this noble initiative.
