Born on 28 July 1998, Simbarashe Musingarimi better known by his stage name DeepTouchSA is a South African Music producer, dj and record producer. Simbarashe developed an interest in music at the age of fourteen years where he began producing music. He drew his musical influences from his uncle who was a producer at the time. He looks up to fellow producers such as Vinny Da Vinci, Dukesoul and QB Smith whose music motivated him.
His first exposure to entertaining audiences was in reputable local house music clubs where he evolved playing various combinations of house music. He demonstrated diversity in music, as always he took inspirations from the music.
His style mainly can be classified as soul music and deep house genres but can also dive deep into other musical styles which is a reflection of his wide range taste and musical interests. In his process of creating music he uses yamaha synthesizer for main chords, cubase software for MIDI sequencing and classical roland TR beat machines with legendary sampler Akai MPC 2000XL for drum programming and sequencing.
