With over a decade of productions behind him Mpeshnyk (pronounced Mpeshneck) has previously signed stellar productions to ITouch Recordings, Atjazz Record Company, Deep Assassin Recordings, Planet Of House and with previous offerings such as Existence EP, Arcanes of Nature, Catalogue Designations EP, The Priesthood EP and many more.
Mpeshnyk now makes his Stay True Sound debut with the release of his beautiful EP titled Indigenous. This new EP features three nice sounding deep house jams namely Transcendent Divinity, Walk The Earth, Mad As Hell. Mpeshnyk’s deep, percussive and emotive style is fully showcased throughout these three productions on this EP.
Born and raised in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Mpendulo “Mpeshnyk” Calaza was first introduced to the dj world in the year 2007, where he was taught the art of deejaying on vinyls by record bar owner and DJ Shane Kust*r of Kuster Re-cords in Melville, Johannesburg. Coming from a musical family, music has always been part of his life and it was only natural that he should pursue a musical career.
