Award winning South African hit maker Prince Kaybee recently released his new album titled Project Hope and it features nine up and coming female vocalists. Prince Kaybee announced #ProjectHope back in August where he opened up an opportunity for one female vocalist to work with him on a song, but later decided to include ten female vocalists.
“After thinking long and hard, I realised it’s unfair to choose one lady because of the overwhelming talent displayed. Instead, I have chosen 10 winners. Each winner gets to do a song with me, we will then compile an album called #ProjectHope.” – Prince Kaybee
The album Project Hope is made up of different music genres which showcase raw South African talent and the female vocalists chosen by Prince Kaybee include Thembisile Q, Thalitha, Bridgette Vocalist, Thobile Ngidi, Katz the Singr, Ruby Rose, LaNeo, Sanda, Basetsana and Nosipho Sibisi. Prince Kaybee assembled a team of up and coming musicians from all walks of life and different parts of South Africa for an album which is set to bring back hope.
With assistance from Msaki, Prince Kaybee took just ten days to complete the masterpiece Project Hope which is said to continue as an annual project which celebrates Women’s Month. However, with next year’s project, Prince Kaybee plans to also include aspiring male artists. Project Hope is now available on all digital music stores and through our support, the artists involved will benefit from the sales.
