Edgar Mfaba (Edsoul) and Hlalefang Nomganga (Fang DaRhythm) of The Rhythm Sessions are proud to announce their debut album titled “Music is Love” officially drops on 25th August 2017 on all digital platforms.
Some background…
It is with no doubt that the duo has had a great musical journey… prior to 2008; Edsoul and Fang DaRhythm were just ordinary local deejays that had passion & love in Sound Engineering. 8 years later the passion, dedication & commitment within the music made them form SA’s next rising music brand: The Rhythm Sessions. Their art of mixing music and creating new music has always fascinated the duo. They are also the only deejays in SA to play using Isolators. The Rhythm Sessions calls for South Africans across the globe to be part of their music journey as it continues to grow. Edsoul’s & Fang DaRhythm’s Boston Media House qualifications in sound engineering and radio have indeed helped the duo build a solid foundation in the radio scene as they were also graced with an opportunity to be part of South Africa’s largest radio station, Kaya Fm where they are a part of the Sound Supreme from 14:00 – 18:00 every Saturday and host the last hour of the show.
About ‘Music Is Love’…
“Touching You” is the 1st track on the album which is set to be one of the most requested and loved songs off the upcoming album & has been exclusively play listed on Kaya Fm for the past 3 months. Traxsource has listed the track in the top 100 list for 2016; they’ve had their music remixed by Grammy Award winning DJ, Louie Vega, released on Vega records & have graced event stages featuring the industry big dawgs. The album features an array of superstars. Having their ‘No Love’ feat. Wanda Baloyi single doing well on iTunes & also features Portia Monique on the single titled ‘Cure’.
Talking about their upcoming album the duo says “MUSIC IS AN ART FORM AND OUR MISSION IS TO TAP INTO A MARKET THAT EXISTS BUT HAS NOT BEEN EXPLORED TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL. OUR MISSION IS TO EXPOSE PEOPLE TO ‘GOOD MUSIC’…”
The official anticipated album launch event will be hosted on the 2nd September 2017 at the Mesh Members Club which will feature a line up of artists the duo have collaborated with on the album along with an exclusive performance by The Rhythm sessions.
The Album release & launch is just the beginning of greater things to come.
