Tumisang “Tweezy_T” Monnakgotla was born in Dobsonville, Soweto in the year 1989. She matriculated at Town View High School in 2007 and now has a National Diploma in Health and Skin Care Therapy, she graduated in 2010 at Physio-Aesthetics Beauty Academy in Mondeo.
Her journey as a Deejay began in 2013, whereby she learned how to drop the first beat, chasing and pitch control. The eagerness and confidence in her made it so easy for her to break into the male dominated industry in which she’s currently doing well and growing. Her great selection, mixing not forgetting the quality playlist and the effort she puts in her sets has landed her in submitting her mixtape/demo to Metro Fm Urban Beat and TransAfrica Radio Net on the Utopia show weekdays. She then enrolled at Fuse Academy in 2017, (Deejay Zinhle’s school for female deejays) to learn more about the art of deejaying. Tweezy_T is very passionate, has worked very hard and that has reflected on her work at Fuse Academy as she was awarded with a Platinum Status certificate.
Before and after graduating her career still continued to take off, she has played in various venues in different provinces.

She has been privileged enough to play alongside Deejay Rocco, Vinny Da Vinci, T-Deep, Black Coffee, Glen Lewis, Ralf Gum, Chymamusique, Christos just to name a few. This year she plans to get into production and start producing her own Deep House tracks.
