Vanco’s debut E.P., Memories paying tribute to his late granddad who played a huge role in his life finally drops on February 28th 2020. Memories single is the first single taken from the E.P. which features Boskasie & Kid X. This song is a mixture of Vanco’s dance musical elements, African Pop, a touch of Kwaito feels “bringing it home” with sing-along lyrics from Boskasie & Kid X. “Memories is what we live for” – Vanco as he incorporates different styles of music with his own authentic sound which is vested in the genre of house music. Touring the world, performing at different clubs, festivals, venues & sharing stages with other artists both local & International music giants such as Black Coffee, Black Motion, Bob Sinclar, Osunlade, Themba, Boddhi Satva, Djeff just to mention a few, has influenced his taste of music, appreciation for other genres and most importantly his creative space.
Vanco’s Memories E.P includes 5 tracks; a collaboration with Black Motion, features with Kid X, Boskasie, Njabuloseh, Siseko, Justin Chalice & Jamie Fallon Smith. In the making of his E.P Memories, Vanco incorporates his authentic production fused with electronic and vintage sound that is captivating, addictive melodies from various genres to showcase the diverse skills and music acumen the collaborators possess.
Vanco, is a diverse dj/producer versed in the genre of Dance/House. Stepping on the scene in 2015, his catalogue ranges from mostly dance/club records and a few radio singles. Vanco received a recent international acclaim in 2019 with his current single Yana Pula and Lutho receiving great support by local and international djs like Oskido, Dj Fresh, with the music video toping charts on Channel O, Trace & Mtv Base and getting played across the globe in Clubs & Festivals like Tomorrowland.
Vanco featured on the Mixmag Lab In Johannesburg 2019, his live set video is currently on You Tube getting good reviews. Vanco is back on touring as he commences 2020 with his first performance in Switzerland then Paris closing off January 2020. Vanco is also set to perform at the world renowned Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg a day after his E.P release. He will spend the next four months performing across the globe as well as his E.p launches in South Africa which will incorporate live band elements and live performances from the vocalists involved in the project.
