Dj Mizz Biography

Mizz is a DJ & Producer, originally from the Eastern Cape but now based in Khayaletsha township in Cape Town, South Africa. He has a broad background in ‘Afro, Tribal, Funk and House Music’ and his dj sets are a mix of his own productions and deep afro tracks with a strong soulful vocal feel.

He is the man behind ‘Count Your Blessings’ which set ablaze and topped both Oskido’s chart show ‘Who wears the crown on Metro FM’ – South Africa’s biggest national urban station) and ‘hot 99’ (YFM – Johannesburg’s biggest urban youth station).

His tracks have also been supported by many radio stations worldwide in countries like ‘Greece, Italy, Canada, Spain and France’. He has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in SA including ‘DJ Merlon, Mondli Ngcobo, Black Coffee, Black Motion, Nikos Diamantopoulos, Blanka Mazimela (Soul Candi), Paso Doble, Deepconsoul, DJ Mel and Em Ex’.
