Sho!Mag: Would you say that you were one of those ‘musical kids’ or you knew even before as a kid that you wanted to play some role in music?
Dj Nastor: I can only say I was fascinated by computers and music in general. Combine that with one music production software and I was blown away. That is where it all started for me.
Sho!Mag: Out of the Music Genres out there, why chose House Music?
Dj Nastor: For me, I take House music is a universal language. With just one five minute track, I can tell so many stories through it.
Sho!Mag: The decision to enter the Deejay Competition, what made you to enter the competition and what were you hoping to achieve out of that completion?
Dj Nastor: As an upcoming artist, I am constantly on the lookout for the perfect options out there so as to push my brand to new heights. I have seen from past winners, how 1s and 2s Master’s Of Spin has helped them when it comes to their growth within the music industry. For me it was the perfect opportunity.
Sho!Mag: Must have been one challenging journey for you being part of the 4th Season of the Masters Of Spin Competition as it was obvious to some of us who watched the show weekly. What would you say was the most challenging part of that competition as you were taken through your paces?
Dj Nastor: The dancing part! That was the most challenging part for me hey. During the performances, the judges required us to dance so as to spice up our performance and all I know is, dancing is just something I cannot do. That was a huge challenge for me.
Sho!Mag: Through it all and having been crowned as the ultimate Master Of Spin 2017, what would you say is the one lesson you would take out of entering and winning that competition?
Dj Nastor: Winning the 2017 Masters Of Spin competition made me to be fully aware that my journey has just begun. My only plan is to make the most of this opportunity given to me.
