Sho Mag: What would your advice be to a ‘young musician’ who is looking tat entering next season’s Dj completion?

Dj Vitoto: ‘Put God in your path’, trust yourself, have no fear of your competitors, know how to manage your time, always stay focused and ready!

Sho Mag: We know you have been busy cooking up something for us this Festive Season. Fill us in on ‘Metlakase Ep’, when is it coming and what can we expect from that offering?

Dj Vitoto: ‘Metlakase Ep’ is basically an extended play selection of two vocals and two instrumentals that will be dropping off on the ‘1st of December’. It is just a very different dimension which took me ‘out of my comfort zone’. My aim is to build my profile both ‘locally and internationally’.

Sho Mag: Sounds interesting so what was your inspiration behind ‘Metlakase Ep’ sound, how would you describe the sound that you put together for ‘Metlakase Ep’ and who did you work with on that project?

Dj Vitoto: Listening to a lot of music more especially the international musicians is how the inspiration came about to form ‘Metlakase Ep’. Fortunate enough the two underground female vocalists featured on the Ep “Koki Riba and Grethah” both from Soshanguve, Pretoria did justice to this sizzling EP.Dj-VitotoSho Mag: Any future projects on the pipeline for ‘Dj Vitoto’ worth noting?

Dj Vitoto: I will be working on my 2018 single after pushing ‘Metlakase Ep’

Sho Mag: ‘Music is a very challenging and highly competitive industry’ in general. What would your best advice be to a young musician who is looking at following a career within the music industry?

Dj Vitoto: First of all music needs ‘patience and dedication’. You need to be a hard worker in order to get best rewards. ‘Do not give up on yourself if things are not working according to the plan. Run your own race at your own pace but make sure you keep on keeping on!!!’

Sho Mag: Last words on what we can expect from you ‘Dj Vitoto’ this year and is there any message you might have for your fans out there?

Dj Vitoto: It takes a lot of time to successfully grow your brand, just DON’T give up on it!!!Dj-Vitoto
