Well known for his fusion of musical elements and crispy-clear vocals, Dr Craigaluv, the South African born artist, is an audience proclaimed prescription specialist through sound, lyrics and dance. He is a versatile creative, who never conform to genre specific boundaries, with a firm belief that music is meant to unlock the unknown so that humanity may discover the power vested in them by God. His primary niche is of the house and dance music, and he boasts a vocal that is influenced by pop and soulful roots.
Dr Craigaluv has been hinting on releasing his debut EP for the better part of this year. His debut EP Prescription – 1st Appointment has gained considerable momentum during the pre-add campaign on Apple Music. With three songs Walk the Talk, Stay True & Dancer’s Obsession being part of the prelease, were seen to hit well over 1000 streams each.
Prescription – 1st Appointment is a seven jam packed Ep with some of the tracks to lookout for including Walk the Talk, Stay True, Dancer’s Obsession, Amagama and many more. Featured artists include Fourie-J Musique, LeeMusik and X-Zonic, have come to the party with afro-dance elements that are just the perfect sound to embrace the prescription. It is with no surprise that the hit makers of Khuza and Akekho are consistent in delivering good music together with Dr Craigaluv.
