Hyenah, has been hard at work for over the last few years and with that he has built a unique sound which I would say ‘ties between the deep house mecca of Johannesburg and the cutting edge electronic scene in Europe’. The lead track ‘Usuthu’ featuring the ‘B’utiza’s’ vocals opens the release in fine style with crisp, percussive beats laying the foundation for the precision synths and trademark Hyenah ‘Afro vibes’. Usuthu is a messive track which got me ‘spell bound’ as ‘B’utiza’ just kept on chanting some truly unique ‘Zulu/Scathamayi’ influenced vocals. This is a must have track if you searching for something new when you are enjoying your sound and with our choice being Mr Raoul K’s version.
