Introducing Lady-M

Michelle Bonzie stage name known as “Lady-M is a young South African female from Kraaifontein and residented in the settlements of Khayelitsha.

Through her interest of music and active mind in the entertainment joining a dancing group labeled themselves as(Bianco)from B-section.In the believe that dancing is more collaborative with music,she gained interest to become a female dj which is a sport that’s maley dominated.

 

As her passion of becoming a female and grow more but finding it difficult to enter.She gained strength and belief through idolising MsPruu the first FemaleDj from Vaal,being self thought musical knowledge to identify her interest was influenced mostly by young South African producers Lady Sakhe,Huge Tee,Messive Simthembile Mnqayi, Milli Balla,Nikki AnonimasDj,Fortee,Mi­zz,Da-Capo the late Dukesoul etc some of them are more productive in Deep and Soulful house musicians.

Through her passion she had a friend Asanda Gxokwe(1nkyDj) a young underground spinner from Kraaifontein.In accompaning 1nky booked for a All Black Party ,met up wit Athi Siphesihle and Dexta who saw potential in her as they offered assistance in training her to be a dj..Given the opportunity and attending sessions in Spacebar(Longstreet)­ they resulted in being potential which after 10 months landed her to play at African Taste still one of the best club’s the biggest busy entertainment business streets,that meant as a casual dj for Thursday’s ladies night..In the exercise of extending knowledge and sharing the experience, than decided to return to her fathers birth place Middelburg Cape near Cradock.As she was involve in the birth of the underground she played with the resident of Tita’s place DJ Jack his from a group DeepPioneers after few months she moved back to the Mother city

.In her return to Cape Town she landed her booking from Dj Jive a producer from Strand one of the best spiners in his area.

 

In dedication and passion of interest in music Deep house head met up with underground stage name Candy max,whom they where ambitious

in starting up a movement.Through social media interactions and idea sharing #Thursday gatherings a platform of peer to peer interest knowledge with those with skill to skill to knowledge with those with skill to teach others who interested to be involved..The young souls unity became so strong the a group UndergroundDeepSocie­ty they feel its their time to shine know..In expanditure and the gain of musical knowledge not taking Dj as a entertainment skill but result to be a career which will aspire other upcoming and interested female Djs from Cape Town to engage upon,will be taking any given opportunity into consideration and give back to those in need of such information as a personal social responsibility.She has shared the stage with young upcoming females SashaDj and Conniedj ,Miss P and Thabisa Shorty one of the best Deep house spinners.
