“Calvin Moyo” well known as “Ras Cal DJ” most people know him as #Ugesi because of the style of music he plays and of the tag he is pushing, he is a professional DJ, event co-ordinator from Johannesburg, South Africa who started deejaying at an early age but only went professional on year 2012.
“Ras Cal Dj” is in his mid-twenties and has made a name for himself on House Music dancefloors around South Africa and some neighboring countries and has been featured on many publications because of his work. He plays house music but his speciality is Afro Tech House Music, he has participated in many deejaying competitions like “South African 9th Red Square Dj Knock Out” and he is a semi-finalist. “Ras Cal Dj” won the “I Heart Festive Competition South Africa” and has shared the stages with international acts such as “Harrison Crump” from the United States Of America.

“Ras Cal Dj” was the part of the great Chesa Nyama Cup which was held at Discovery Soccer Park and shared stages with the following South African deejaying sensations such “Black Coffee” and “Shimza”.He has worked and shared stages with various deejays across South Africa.

He also took part on a DJ Battle held at Club Sirade in Newtown, Johannesburg, South Africa and won, his mixes are played on many national radio stations. Currently, “Ras Cal Dj” is a Resident Mix DJ on V.O.W FM 88.1 since 2018.
