After making his impressive debut with Forgive featuring Lee Wilson last year, Toronto based producer Stoim returns to Double Cheese Records with a fresh soulful groover for 2021. With You is a heartfelt love song performed by South African vocalist Unqle Chriz, whose smooth soul-drenched tones glide over a groovy backdrop of Latin bass, funky guitars, warm keys, flute and percussive beats.
DJ, producer and songwriter Stoim, aka Kostas Stoimenidis, hails from Greece, but has been busy for the last 20 years carving a name for himself on the Toronto House scene. Having honed his craft as a DJ, gracing the decks at some of Toronto’s hottest spots, Stoim has also performed in the USA and Europe. Stoim likes to capture the spirit and essence of a moment with his music selection, choosing music unbiased to any form and never fails to connect with the crowd. Having recently turned his hand to producing, Stoim released his debut single Forgive, which featured remixes from Coflo and Luyo on Double Cheese Records in Autumn 2020 to great acclaim and has since released singles on Good For You and Pasqua Records. He is currently working on some brand new tracks for 2021 with vocalists Tracy Hamlin, Laura Jackson and Unqle Chriz.
Unqle Chriz is a singer / songwriter from South Africa. He has worked with international producers such as Dj Pope, Cee ElAssaad, George Lesley & Yooks and his work has been released on labels such as Soulfuric, Pasqua, Tribe and Vibe Boutique.
