A collaboration with Black Motion featuring Justin Chalice on vocals Closer to The Light single is taken from his latest Ep Memories which was released on the 28th of February 2020. The current single is an exploration of South African Dance music in its various permutations, from the groove, fused with a touch of Afrocentric sounds, sweet and catchy vocals from Justin Chalice.
Vanco, is a diverse dj/producer versed in the genre of dance/house who incorporates his authentic production fused with electronic, vintage sound that is captivating, addictive melodies from various genres to showcase the diverse skills and music acumen the collaborators possess. Steeping on the scene in 2015, his catalogue ranges from mostly dance/club records and a few radio singles. Vanco received a recent international acclaim in 2019 with his current single Yana Pula and Lutho receiving great support by local and international djs getting played in clubs and festivals like Tomorrowland as well as the music video toping the charts on Channel O, Trace, Mtv Base.
Vanco featured on mixmag the lab in Johannesburg 2019, his live set video is currently on YouTube getting good reviews. He draws his musical inspiration and appreciation of other musical genres from touring the world, preforming at different clubs, festivals, venues & sharing stages with other artists both local and International music giants such as Blackcoffee, Black Motion, Bob Sinclar, Osunlade, Themba, Boddhi Satva, Djeff just to mention a few. Vanco commenced his world tour end of January where he performed in Switzerland, Djoon Paris, Nigeria and at Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg a day after his E.P. was released.
Vanco was set to perform across the globe as well as his E.p launches in South Africa alongside a live band and live performance from the vocalists involved in the project. However due to Covid-19 effect an update will be made on his socials as time progresses.
