‘Thabo William Namane’ known by his stage name ‘Yanco Deep’. Born and Raised in the south of Johannesburg (Vaal) in South Africa, a self-taught house music producer who has been on the underground music scene for years. ‘Yanco Deep’ grew up being exposed to a variety music genres, he sure did love hip hop as his favourite music genre till ‘Lucky Tsikoane’ one of ‘Yanco Deep’s’ friend introduced him to the sound of deep house music such as ‘Soul Candy Sessions’.
From that day and onwards he developed a huge love for house music while he was discovering other sub genres from house music. He discovered a sub-genre known as ‘Afro House Music’, were he found himself loving the ‘Afro’ sounds more whereby he found it hard to leave out an afro element when his working with his project.
He has released music with labels such as ‘DM Recordings, DNH Records, Open Bar Music, Nu Gruv Records’ only to name a few and with a debut release under ‘Afro Rebel’. ‘Yanco Deep’ is an afro house producer he has been influenced by the likes of ‘Benny T, Rancido, The Lamberti Boys, Ta-Ice, Jouem, Addex, Da Capo’ just to name a few as well.
‘Yanco Deep’ is part of the band known as ‘Phonetic Brothers’ which he has join forces with ‘EKstatiQ Tone, Sir Rizio & Bgrooves’. They have join forces and are exploring the other sounds of house music.
