The instrumental of Zulu Spear was sent to label head Cory Centric last year. He engaged the talents of the one of the hottest vocalist in the Afro House scene Idd Aziz, and here you have it a super cut of Deep Afro Tech House.
Enlisting the remixing talents of South Africa’s finest Candyman and also blessing the release with a remix under his Pryor guise. This is a package not to slept on. Zulu Spear (Original Mix), started life as a hot instrumental which featured heavily in sets from a number leading South Africa’s deejays. With dark base lines, thumping kicks and syncopated drums keeping you on the edge with a dark and devious synth line. Add Idd Aziz emotive vocals to the mix and you have sure fire dance floor drama.
Zulu Spear Pryor Remix, taking it up a notch the Pryor remix goes in hard with a remix built around hypnotic percussion, space effect and rising synth into a vocal lead breakdown. Zulu Spear – Candyman Remix , taken directly from the Candyman Afro Tech template this mix hits in all the right places, highlighting Candyman style shuffling drums, subtle synth lines and a re-org of the vocals the give this mix a firmer dance floor feel.
