Brian Power Presents 'Soulhouse Vol.1'

Since their inception in 2016, UK Soulful imprint Soulhouse Music have been releasing quality music encompassing some of the best talent the genre has to offer. Kicking off 2018 with a bang, the label get set to release their first album project from label boss Brian Power owith ‘Soulhouse Vol.1’ – a cohesive collection of his own songwriting, mixed with soulful hooks, melodic touches and tight grooves blended with a wealth of musical talent.

Boasting some of Brian’s best works on the label to date, the album features superb collaborations with Lifford, Sartorial, Shiv, Lloyd Wade, Ronnie Herel, Mike Delgadoand regular Soulhouse vocalist Rebecca Scales, along with top drawer remixes from Richard Earnshaw, Eric Kupper, DJ Spen and Gary Hudgins and many more! The album also features 3 brand new *exclusive tracks including ‘You Win’ featuring the ‘powerhouse’ vocalist who was runner up in 2017’s The Voice, Michelle John, ‘In Memoria De Roberto’ featuring Adriana and ‘You Mean The World To Me’ with soulful favourite Marc Avon Evans. In addition to the album tracks, Brian flexes his DJ muscles and delivers an exclusive DJ mix to enjoy.

Brian Power is a people’s DJ at heart and has played to thousands around Europe from London to Ibiza, sharing the decks with legends such as Paul Trouble Anderson and DJ Spen and many more. Remarkably although he has been involved in music at all levels including a club and events promoter and DJ, Brian only launched his studio career in recent years, swiftly gaining top name DJ support on his musical output.

The launch of Brian’s SoulHouse Music label evolved over a full English in a greasy spoon cafe in 2016 and a pivotal desperation to remix Jeffrey Osborne’s ‘I Really Don’t Need No Light’. The label’s benchmark is the cohesion of Soul and House music combined, celebrating music’s rich history by re-presenting staple Soul classics to a new generation, boasting killer house cuts and stellar remixes from both world class renowned and homegrown fresh talent.

Since their inception Soulhouse have released collaborations from Brian with talented artists including regular cohort Rebecca Scales, Lifford, Tony Econimides, Mike Patto, Shiv, Michelle John, Ali Tennant, Ronnie Herel and many more, enlisting heavyweight remixers including Eric Kupper, N’Dinga Gaba, Mike Delgado, Booker T, DJ Spen & Gary Hudgins and Richard Earnshaw among others. Soulhouse Music get set to release their first album in 2018 with Brian Power presents ‘Soulhouse Vol. 1’. Not just a studio bound project, Brian will be showcasing the album live next year in London with a full band featuring Ernie McKone on bass, Luca Feroni (Craig David) playing guitar and Mike Patto on keys. His ethics are to bring quality Soulful House to the masses.
